2.13 - Fright Night (2011)

Hey guys...looking for a pick up game?

The Mikes are creepin' on you vampire style as they wind down Forgotten Horror with the 2011 remake of Fright Night starring Anton Yelchin, Collin Farrell and David Tennant.

Listen in as Field and Butler sink their teeth into why they believe this film is forgotten, thoughts on why the writing and actors, especially David Tennant's Peter Vincent, make this a horror film worth revisiting. The Mikes also drop some fun facts about the making of the film, from the prevalent shark motif, to a certain legendary director who may have helped out a bit.

So grab your wooden stake and garlic knots, please notice the coffins to the front and rear of the mausoleum and prepare your eternal soul for Forgotten Horror!

About the Podcast

Forgotten Cinema
A podcast about forgotten films that deserve a second chance
Welcome to Forgotten Cinema! Each episode, Mike Field and Mike Butler highlight a film that for a variety of reasons was forgotten by audiences. Whether it be because a more popular movie was released at the same time or the movie simply didn’t catch on with an audience in the its initial run. We’ll discuss what we love about the movie or perhaps don’t love about it and decide whether the movie is worth a revisit.
