Night Shift

The Mikes are working the morgue and running the corner with Fonzi and Beetlejuice on this week's episode of "Forgotten Cinema" as they discuss the 1982 film, "Night Shift" starring Henry Winkler, Shelley Long, and featuring Michael Keaton in his first starring film role.

Neither Mike Butler or Mike Field have seen this film about city morgue workers who through some unusual circumstances become widely successful pimps on the side. What did the Mikes think of this film? What's it like seeing Fonzi as an uncool coward and how did Keaton do in his first big time role? Find out by checking out this episode!

About the Podcast

Forgotten Cinema
A podcast about forgotten films that deserve a second chance
Welcome to Forgotten Cinema! Each episode, Mike Field and Mike Butler highlight a film that for a variety of reasons was forgotten by audiences. Whether it be because a more popular movie was released at the same time or the movie simply didn’t catch on with an audience in the its initial run. We’ll discuss what we love about the movie or perhaps don’t love about it and decide whether the movie is worth a revisit.
