Trilogy of Terror

Mike Butler and Mike Field are joined by John Doolan of the You Can't Sit With Us podcast for the premiere of the fourth annual Forgotten Horror!

What's in the coffin tonight? The 1975 television horror special Trilogy of Terror starring Karen Black in three (or four) distinct roles and an especially violent Zulu warrior doll.

Listen in as the three discuss Karen Black ability to become numerous different characters in three distinct stories. They'll also talk about how surprisingly adult much of the content in the stories is, especially considering that the film came out for TV in the 1970's. They'll also, of course, talk about that infamous killer doll.

So, grab your spell book and voodoo doll, please notice the corpses to the left and right of you and dig a grave for Forgotten Cinema.

About the Podcast

Forgotten Cinema
A podcast about forgotten films that deserve a second chance
Welcome to Forgotten Cinema! Each episode, Mike Field and Mike Butler highlight a film that for a variety of reasons was forgotten by audiences. Whether it be because a more popular movie was released at the same time or the movie simply didn’t catch on with an audience in the its initial run. We’ll discuss what we love about the movie or perhaps don’t love about it and decide whether the movie is worth a revisit.
